Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school in Rochester, MI, with a contract running through the current school year. This role focuses on providing dedicated support to students with mild to moderate special education needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning requirements.
• Deliver in-person instruction and support within the classroom setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student growth and inclusion.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) Certification with required SPED endorsement.
• Preferred experience working with students who have mild to moderate special education needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and educational teams.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere.
