A feline-focused veterinary clinic in Bellevue is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join its small, dedicated team. This tranquil, cat-only environment offers exams, lab testing, radiology, surgery, and boarding. The clinic values its long-standing relationships with clients and prides itself on personalized care.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role directly supporting the doctor and veterinary assistant each day. The team is looking for an experienced technician interested in stepping into a leadership-oriented position, supporting education, operational improvement, and outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care to patients, perform laboratory tests, administer medications, and educate clients on pet health.
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgeries.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports as needed.

  • Monitor anesthesia and provide surgical support.

  • Communicate clearly with clients, doctors, and team members.

  • Support training initiatives, operational improvements, and adoption of new technologies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations in veterinary care.

Qualifications

    • Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.

    • Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington State.

    • Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Work Schedule & Culture

  • 10-hour shifts Monday thru Friday (7:45 am to 6:15 pm), Saturdays (8:00 am to 2:30 pm)
