Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized imaging role is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technician at a well-established medical center in Saint Johns, FL. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-caliber cardiovascular team using advanced diagnostic and interventional equipment in a dynamic procedural setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a variety of cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures, including Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke interventions, Carotid Stenting, and Peripheral diagnostics.
• Scrub and monitor during LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians and the charge nurse to maintain efficient procedural flow within the cath lab.
• Support prep and recovery areas as needed.
• Document procedures accurately using the Meditech EMR system.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current certifications required: RCIS, RCES, or RT(R).
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Minimum of one years experience in a cath lab setting, demonstrating proficiency with advanced cardiac procedures.
• Familiarity with equipment such as GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays in alignment with facility schedules.
• Proficiency with MacLab/Meditech documentation systems.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• On-call rotation with approximately 15-18 call days per month.
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.
