\nStartDate: 9/8/2025 \nAvailable Shifts: 12 D/E/N \nPay Rate: $2266.30 - $2497.55 \n
\nGeneral Information:\nNumber of ORs: 2 CV ORs\nWill you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? If not, what is the minimum years of experience accepted? Would prefer at least 2 years of experience.\nWill you accept a first-time traveler? Would prefer not to\n*We desperately need a strong CV CST, if we cannot find an applicant with experience, we will be open to interviewing someone with 1 year CV experience as a last resort\n\nCase Types:\nCABG, VATS, Fistula Creation/Revision, Pleurx, Permcath Insertion, Amputation, Angiogram, Venogram, Angiogram, Endarterectomy, etc\nAverage # of cases performed in a day:\n1-3 generally, sometimes 5-6\nRequired Licensure and Certifications:\nRN: BLS, ACLS\nScrub Tech: BLS, National certification (CST) – NBSTSA required – MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PROFILE\nNursing Assistant: BLS\nFirst Assist: BLS, National certification (CSFA) – NBSTSA required - MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PROFILE\nSkills required:\nRN: able to circulate above cases\nScrub Tech: able to scrub above cases independently\nNursing Assistant: general knowledge of the OR\nFirst Assist (if applicable): able to assist independently\nTechnology/Equipment:\nEMR: Epic\nIV pumps: Alaris\nMedication dispensing: Omnicell\nFloating:\nNot required, but if they have main OR experience and would be willing to float if needed that would help ensure they aren’t flexed on light days.\nOrientation:\nDependent on skill level of applicant\nScheduling:\nWeekend rotation: every other weekend\nOn call? If so, what is that schedule?\nScrub Tech: every other day & every other weekend\nHoliday Expectations: Hospital recognized holidays are call-only\nRTO: Manager approval\nShift times:\nIn general, Monday – Friday, 6:30-3p but when a CABG is posted arrival time is earlier\nOther notes:\nScrub Color: hospital provided\nParking: free, staff parking lot and parking deck available\n\n
Required Qualifications
Current NC or Compact RN license (#/expiration)
75 Mile Radius Rule
BLS, ACLS
EPIC Charting
SSN, DOB, and OR SCL and CVOR reference within a year\n\n\n\n
