Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter
Location: Tyngsboro, MA (fully remote)
Min Exp: 3+ years of related staffing or talent acquisition experience within the federal government, military and intelligence agencies.
Min Ed: Minimum Bachelor's preferred but not required
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000- placement fees range from $500-$1,000 per candidate placed
We are looking for a deadline-focused technical recruiter to be responsible for the sourcing, screening, and hiring of technical specialists to fill IT positions. The technical recruiter's responsibilities include all aspects of hiring, from meeting with hiring managers to write job descriptions to offering job positions to the most suitable candidates. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines to the satisfaction of all parties involved. To be a successful technical recruiter, you should have a good working knowledge of technology, technical roles, and technical skills, as well as knowledge of the recruitment process
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of related staffing or talent acquisition experience within the federal government, military and intelligence agencies.
- Deep familiarity with technical skills and terminology relevant to the industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of government clearances (DHS Public Trust, DOD Secret, TS, TS/SCI, TS/SCI CI & FS Poly)
- Strong understanding of advanced recruitment processes and best practices.
- Experience in building, cultivating, and sustaining networks of qualified, passive candidates and creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool.
- Proven track record of applying advanced recruiting fundamentals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding.
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint is a plus)
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (ATS), iSolved is a plus, and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Understanding Requirements:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand the technical skills, qualifications, and experience required for open positions.
Candidate Sourcing:
- Utilize various channels, job boards (Clearance Jobs, Dice, Indeed, LinkedIn), social media, professional networks, company approved vendors, etc., to actively source and attract potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Candidate Screening:
- Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications.
- Conduct initial screenings to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Interviewing:
- Coordinate and conduct technical interviews.
- Work Assess candidates' technical abilities and interpersonal skills.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Works closely with hiring managers to understand their team dynamics, goals, and specific hiring requirements.
- Provide regular updates on the status of open positions and candidate pipelines.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, providing timely feedback and information.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Generate reports and metrics to track recruitment effectiveness.
