Calibration Technician | Charlotte, MI
Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instrumentation to ensure accuracy.
- Document calibration results and maintain detailed records in the calibration management system.
- Develop and revise calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards and internal protocols.
- Analyze calibration data to identify trends and recommend improvements to calibration intervals.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology).
- 2-4 years of experience performing calibration of various measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including schematics, blueprints, and calibration procedures.
- Strong understanding of measurement principles, uncertainty, and the application of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.1).
- Experience with calibration software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
