Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide comprehensive assessment and therapy services within a K-12 educational setting. This role will focus on supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a School SLP
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work alongside multidisciplinary teams
