Joseph J. Magnolia is looking for a harder work with a great personality to work as a warehouse assistant. In this role you will be responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. This person should have experience as a handy man but also great with computers to handle shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment
- Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements
- Operate industrial power equipment
- Restock and replenish as appropriate
- Perform general maintenance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Fill in for other positions as needed
- Perform general warehouse service duties
- Periodic bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing
- Responsible for tracking company tools used on job sites
- Responsible for tracking all tools and equipment sent out for repair
- Assists with on/offloading of deliveries and pickups
Requirements:
- High integrity and high energy
- Ability to work in a team and / or one-on-one with our customer
- Experience driving forklift
- Knowledge of general tools and equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Commercial HVAC/plumbing experience preferred
- Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
