We are proud to be the largest general practice (GP) veterinary hospital in San Diego County, and were continuing to grow with a second location opening soon in the vibrant Pacific Beach area. ABOUT THE ROLE: Client Care SUPERVISOR
We are seeking an accomplished veterinary professional to join our leadership team. This is far more than a front-desk management role its a critical leadership position within our organization, perfect for someone looking to grow with a dynamic, multi-location practice.
The Supervisor is responsible for leading the client service team, overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional client experiences, and supporting the overall performance of the hospital. As a member of the practice leadership team, youll play a key role in strategic planning and implementation as we scale our services.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- College degree preferred but not required.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in client care
- At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting.
- Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of common veterinary medical conditions and animal care products.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the CSR team
- Oversee front-desk workflows, scheduling, and client-facing protocols
- Drive hiring, training, and performance reviews of CSR staff
- Manage escalated client concerns and ensure client satisfaction
- Act as a strategic partner to the Practice Manager and serve as proxy as needed
- Ensure cross-functional communication across teams
- Champion a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture
- Participate in strategic planning for current and future locations
- Monitor departmental KPIs and drive continuous process improvement
- Spearhead workflow innovation to improve efficiency and client engagement
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must enjoy working in an animal care environment with its inherent physical and sensory conditions
- Occasional exposure to odors, noise, and animal-related incidents (bites, scratches, waste)
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled areas as needed
WAGE & BENEFITS
- Hourly rate: $28 $30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
