Steel Fitter – Full Time
Pay: $20–$22/hr (Pay may vary based on experience; higher rates possible for highly skilled candidates)
Schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Overtime may be required based on workload.
We are hiring a Steel Fitter to join our growing team! This is a full-time opportunity for a dependable and experienced professional looking to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit and assemble structural steel components according to blueprints and drawings
- Use measuring tools, torches, grinders, and welding equipment to prep and fit parts
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Safely operate hand and power tools in a production setting
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications
- Previous experience in structural or steel fitting required
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
- Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Open to working overtime when needed
