Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting.
We are currently hiring 3 full-time SLPs to provide home-based care throughout Brooklyn and to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads.
Pay: $110,000.00-$115,000.00/annually

Qualifications:

Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required.

Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Home care experience preferred, but not required.

Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.

Job Overview: As a Speech Language Pathologist with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and quality of life. You will also provide rehabilitative services to patients who are unable to travel to a clinic or hospital. This is focused on improving patients' quality of life by promoting mobility, function, and independence within the comfort and convenience of their own homes.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises.

Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.
