FirstChoice Rheumatology is currently hiring full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our clinic and infusion room.

• Monday-Thursday schedule.
• Patient teaching and / or instructions of medication and disease process
• Medication administration
• Patient Safety, monitoring, and follow up. Answer’s routine questions from patients
• Room patients, enter accurate patient data, process refills, PA's, give injections.
• Communicates all pertinent information to physician and other staff.
• Serves as a resource person for medical assistants.
• Prepare and administer medication based in the recommended treatment plan
• Monitor infusions and maintain a detailed record of each infusion, when needed
• Maintain supplies, inventory of medications and open medication deliveries
• Refill patient medication request
• Triage patient phone calls and through patient portal

Qualification requirements

• Ability to work with the physician and other team members to deliver safe and effective care to patients.
• Skilled in computer use and EMR procedures.
• Minimum 2 years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Experience in a medical office or clinic setting required
• Prior infusion experience required
• Good verbal and written communication
• Friendly, helpful and courteous to patients and on the phone
• Team player and multitasker
