- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night), variable schedule with rotating weekends and holiday commitment\n
- Charting System: EPIC\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050-$2200\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active RN license (or willingness to obtain West Virginia RN license)\n
- 1-2 years of recent critical care experience in Cardiac Stepdown or CVICU\n
- Previous travel nursing experience required\n
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n
- Experience with CRRT, Impella, and IABP devices\n
- TNCC certification preferred\n
- Proficient in titrating and managing cardiac drips (Dopamine, Levophed, Vaso, Dobutamine, Argatroban, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Lasix)\n
- Strong skills in cardiac strip interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring\n
\n\nCardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac conditions\n
- Monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic devices\n
- Titrate and administer cardiac medications and drips according to protocols\n
- Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams\n
- Float to ICU and Stepdown units as needed\n
- Participate in unit orientation, ongoing skills assessments, and maintain compliance with hospital policies\n
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health record system\n
- Adhere to hospital dress code (Navy scrubs, closed-toed shoes, solid color undershirts)\n
