Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Radiation Therapist / Diagnostic Technologist to educate individuals in a clinical setting. The Applications Specialist must be highly knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess solid technical aptitude. Additionally, they are expected to be excellent communicators, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and engaging manner. The goal is to educate our customers proficiently in a timely fashion for their continued success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Arrange for and conduct on-site trainings when needed
- Execute training sessions individually or in a group setting
- Ability/Willingness to travel extensively, 80%+, may include weekend and evening travel/work as required by client need
- Deliver training program according to organizational requirements
- Prepare training materials
- Report data on completed courses
- Observe and evaluate results of training programs
- Offer continued support to existing customers
- Temporary radiation therapy coverage for practices maybe required on occasion.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of a Radiation Therapy Program preferred and/or Graduate of a Diagnostic Radiation Program
- ARRT registered
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Previous Clinical Applications training experience preferred
- Proficient use of software programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and navigating other web-based platforms
- Ability to learn and utilize specialized industry-specific software programs
- Ability to communicate with Physicians and office staff appropriately
- Ability to manage stressful situations appropriately and multi-task
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to address training needs
