Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports the growth of the dental practice by planning and executing marketing activities that enhance patient acquisition, retention, and overall brand visibility. This role combines digital marketing, community outreach, and practice reputation management to ensure a consistent and positive patient experience.
Responsibilities and DutiesDigital Marketing & Online Presence:
- Manage the practice’s sponsorships and events.
- Create and schedule gifts and referral information for engagement with local doctors.
- Maintain and update the dental office website with current services, promotions, and blogs.
- Track and analyze performance of online campaigns to optimize results.
Patient Acquisition & Retention
- Develop and promote new-patient specials and referral programs.
- Oversee patient recall and retention campaigns (email, SMS, newsletters).
Reputation & Review Management
- Monitor online reviews (Google, Yelp, Healthgrades) and encourage satisfied patients to leave feedback.
- Respond to or escalate patient comments/questions in a timely and professional manner.
Branding & Creative Work
- Ensure all marketing materials reflect a professional and consistent brand image.
- Design flyers, brochures, posters, and in-office signage for promotions or events.
- Capture photos and videos in-office for use across marketing channels.
Community Outreach & Events
- Build relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
- Coordinate sponsorships, events, health fairs, and educational presentations.
- Manage marketing materials needed for events and ensure proper representation of the practice.
Administrative & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Office Manager, Dentists, and Treatment Coordinator to promote services and improve patient flow.
- Maintain marketing calendars, budgets, and reports.
- Track KPIs such as new patient numbers, call volume, ad ROI, and referral sources.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (dental/healthcare experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing basics.
- Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging content and work independently.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients in a healthcare setting.
