Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter who will be responsible for both rough and finish carpentry on commercial buildings. The role involves framing buildings, installing windows and doors, and eventually moving on to finish carpentry tasks such as setting interior doors, cabinets, and trim. Our projects span a range of industries including restaurants, hotels, retail, wellness, industrial, and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and skilled carpentry tasks on commercial construction sites.
- Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications.
- Install framing, drywall, doors, windows, trim, and other building components.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and crew members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project quality and efficiency.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of construction carpentry experience in commercial or residential projects.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in rough and finish carpentry.
- Familiarity with demolition work.

Work Environment
The work environment requires wearing hard hats, high visibility vests, safety glasses, and work boots. The typical work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm. On the first day, you will start at the shop at 7:30 am, meet with the team, receive PPE, and then proceed to the job site. You are expected to bring and maintain your own basic carpentry hand tools, including a tape measure, speed square, chalk line, utility knife, pry bar, nail set, pencils/markers, and various other tools. The company provides PPE such as a hard hat, safety glasses, and a high visibility shirt.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $40.00/hr.
