Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experienceTerrific Senior Major Gifts Officer position with an international development nonprofit. The position will join a highly mission-driven and collaborative team during a planned growth phase. In this role, the Senior MGO will manage the full fundraising life cycle for a portfolio of individual, corporate, and family foundation donors capable of giving 10,000+, including 6- and 7- figure multi-year gifts. This role is focused on establishing and maintaining strong connections with existing and new donors. A robust benefits package currently includes the following:

Responsibilities:
- Prospect research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for a portfolio of 150-200 major donors and prospects at the $10,000+ level
- Manage a current portfolio of approximately $1.8 million that includes individuals, corporations and family foundations
- Design and implement effective strategies to increase fundraising over time from active, lapsed, and new donors
- Establish deep, trustworthy personal connections and with donors
- Collaborate with the CEO and/or Board on significant gifts
- Identify donors that have the capacity for increased levels of giving
- Leverage data to maximize fundraising initiatives
- Maintain donor records and fundraising activities in Salesforce
- Travel as needed to meet with donors and attend organizational meetings
Qualifications:
- Approximately 5-8+ of years relevant major gifts fundraising experience
- Demonstrated track record of managing and growing a major gifts portfolio, including 5-figure and 6-figure multi-year gifts
- Excels at connecting with and building strong relationships with donors
- A go-getter that's excited about nurturing relationships and making the ask
- Mission-driven and passionate fundraiser
- Comfortable working remotely with extensive virtual team collaboration
- Thrive in a goal-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Experience with a donor CRM
