Join our General Dentistry team as a Dental Assistant where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth dental procedures and excellent patient care. This position offers high autonomy and involves working closely with dentists to assist with a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, managing a moderate daily patient volume of 6 to 10.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Perform dental radiography following safety standards
- Manage and update dental patient records accurately
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage inventory supplies
- Maintain dental instruments and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in dental assisting
- Completion of a Dental Assistant Certification program
- Knowledge of dental radiography and infection control
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Familiarity with dental software and sterilization techniques
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate attention to detail
