Responsibilities include:
Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications and drawings.
Perform dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, or other precision measuring tools.
Review and interpret blueprints, work orders, and quality standards.
Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and prevent quality issues.
Maintain calibration records and assist with internal audits.
Support the development and implementation of quality procedures and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company quality policies, customer requirements, and industry standards (ISO, AS9100, etc. if applicable).

Requirements/Responsibilities

Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years in Quality Assurance or Inspection within a manufacturing or fabrication environment (custom or job-shop experience preferred).

Skills:
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
Familiar with quality documentation, inspection reports, and root cause analysis.
Experience with ISO or similar quality systems a plus.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems).
Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
