Position: Dental Hygienist – Full Time
Location: Our organization – Fort Belvoir, Alexandria, VA
Schedule: Monday to Thursday (with potential for Friday/Saturday in the future)
Experience: Preferred 1 year, but we welcome new graduates!

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
- Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- Current CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
- We welcome both new graduates and experienced hygienists!
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care for overall dental health maintenance.
- Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
- Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Adjustments may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling the essential functions of the role.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally.
- Willingness to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
- To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. Arrangements for the test will be made during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in the states of FL & TN.
