Marketing Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager has a key role within the Marketing Department and is responsible managing the successful delivery of projects through the entire campaign lifecycle. The Project Manager will be comfortable with leading calls, decision making, have strong partner engagement, commitment, and problem-solving skills. The Project Manager will perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties including budgets, proposals, reporting, invoicing and more. This role plays a key part in managing high-engagement third-party co-op marketing initiatives – overseeing contracts, timelines, and performance metrics while ensuring seamless communication, strong Roi, and strategic alignment across partners.

What You’ll Do
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables with all projects related to the Marketing team
- Own the Marketing Project Roadmap and execution of it: monitor scheduling, planning and resource management from project inception through delivery
- Evaluate, delegate, and communicate project tasks to Marketing Co-Ordinator and Creative Team
- Ensure project-related documentation is accurate and complete
- Manage third-party co-op marketing programs, including contract execution, campaign scheduling, partner communication, and performance tracking (KPI’s, ROI, and analytics)
- Use of initiative to make final decisions on behalf of our partners
- Drive objectives to our content team, ensuring understanding and tactical outlines
- Develop final reporting for marketing campaigns highlighting key partner initiatives
- Manage departmental calendar and traffic so that work is on time and on budget
- Assist in development of annual marketing budget
- Work with accounting to ensure all invoices are paid and approved on time
- Manage marketing coordinator to develop and execute plan for increasing member engagement (Hubspot)
- Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across multiple, simultaneous projects
- Track content engagement and benchmarks to help determine effectiveness for future content development
- Assist Director of Marketing with organizing and formulating updates on partner projects
- Assist Director of Marketing with formulating marketing plans specific to our regions
- Assist Director of Marketing with partner marketing sales initiatives
- Ensure partner related documents are accurate and complete
Manage and oversee print marking objectives and schedules for new and existing campaigns
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicating with stakeholders on current marketing projects
- Oversee and manage marketing tactics for both Internal and external campaigns
- Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure payments are reconciled.
- Creating and implementing efficient content production processes to ensure productivity and
high quality content - Build trusting relationships with current external partners
- Seeking out new marketing initiatives with external partners
- Manage the activities of our content writing and editing teams
- Consulting with management and providing useful suggestions on possible improvements to
our marketing scheme - Continuous review internal processes and propose efficiencies
Skills and Specifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills (both written and oral)
- Excellent understanding of organizational methodologies
- Understanding and appreciation for current project management technology
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and to meet project milestones
- Ability to handle a varied workload and to manage more than one project at a time
- Strong interest and knowledge in a variety of marketing tactics, including social media
Strong interest in project analysis and improvement
Education and Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience coordinating marketing projects
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Understanding advanced marketing principles and best practices
- Ability to make organizational decisions and schedule marketing team projects
- Excellent Knowledge of project management software (particularly monday.com and Hubspot)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
Physical Activities and Requirements:
- FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
- TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
- AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery (copy machine, keyboard, etc.).
- PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
Physical Activities and Requirements:
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
- MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; the four basic arithmetic operations with money; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound (or their metric counterparts).
- LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words; read at a slow rate; and define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation. Ability to write complex sentences, using proper punctuation, and using adjectives and adverbs. Ability to communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tense and good vocabulary.
