Job Description – Remote Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for storytelling, a passion for visual content, and proficiency in video editing software. You will be responsible for editing, enhancing, and finalizing video content for various digital platforms while ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing & Production

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content.

• Trim, rearrange, and enhance clips to create seamless visual storytelling.

• Add motion graphics, text overlays, and transitions for professional quality.

2. Audio & Visual Enhancements

• Adjust color correction, lighting, and audio levels for optimal quality.

• Sync audio tracks, voiceovers, and background music with video footage.

• Eliminate background noise and improve overall sound clarity.

3. Content Creation & Optimization

• Adapt videos for different formats (social media, YouTube, advertisements, etc.).

• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and messaging.

• Create engaging thumbnails and video previews when needed.

4. Collaboration & Project Management

• Work closely with content creators, marketing teams, and clients.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Provide creative input on video concepts, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.

5. File Management & Exporting

• Organize and archive video assets efficiently.

• Export final videos in required formats and resolutions.

• Ensure file compatibility for various platforms and devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 1+ year in video editing or multimedia production.

• Software Proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, and transitions.

  • Knowledge of color grading and audio enhancement techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

• Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, 3D animation, or VR content.
