Responsibilities
- Assist with order picking and packing using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accurate fulfillment.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory updates within warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain precise stock records.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation.
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and perform regular stock checks to optimize warehouse space.
- Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems), loaders, and forklifts to streamline distribution processes.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, or similar inventory software is advantageous.
- Experience in e-commerce order picking, packing, and shipping processes will help you excel in this role.
- Basic math proficiency for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations essential for accuracy in order fulfillment.
