The 3rd Shift Quality Assurance Technician - T2 performs process audits and product or component testing under general supervision to ensure compliance with quality standards
Compensation: Non-exempt hourly pay based on experience. OT and Performance Bonus eligible.
Travel: None
Location: Newbury, OH Manufacturing Facility. 3rd Shift 11:00pm-7:30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors production procedures to ensure conformance to engineering specifications.
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of molded and purchased parts to ensure conformance to internal requirements and customer specifications.
- Performs tests that verify the functionality of a product or part utilizing appropriate measuring and testing equipment.
- Assists with training molding department personnel on quality procedures, use of work instruction and engineering specifications.
- Ensures processes related to Quality are understood and followed.
- Performs process audits to ensure adherence to work instructions.
- Performs dock audits to ensure adherence to shipping and packaging standards.
- Records data into the databases that contain inspection records.
- Maintains work area by cleaning, straightening, and sweeping as necessary.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need to succeed:
Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 1 or more years of related experience in a quality/manufacturing environment required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform standard processes and standard testing as outlined in the qualifications matrix of the organization.
- Ability to operate effectively both as an individual and as a part of a team.
- Good mechanical and math aptitude.
- Good computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet proficiency.
- Good mental and visual attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for a business setting.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to read simple blueprints.
- Ability to use calibrated gages, tools, and fixtures.

Physical Effort and Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing and reaching
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and maneuvering up to 100 pounds with a dolly
- Frequently exposed to oil and noise
- Exposure to heat or cold due to seasonal changes
