Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a compassionate professional to provide individualized support to a student within a life skills program. This role will play a vital part in both academic assistance and essential daily care, ensuring the student can participate fully and comfortably in the school environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m.
- Contract position through June 2026
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required
- Experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA, or working with students in an educational or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Current New Hampshire (NH) certification
- Ability to provide one-on-one support, including academic guidance and personal care
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct academic support for a student enrolled in the life skills program
- Assist with daily living activities, including following a scheduled toileting plan and maintaining appropriate positioning throughout the school day
- Collaborate with educational staff and related providers to implement the student’s individualized program goals
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment that fosters student dignity and comfort
- Document activities and report changes, concerns, or progress to the appropriate staff as needed
