Job Opening: Office Manager - Magavern Magavern Grimm, LLP
Location: Downtown Buffalo, New York Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000-95,000, based on experience.

We are a mid-sized, client-focused firm dedicated to providing high-quality legal services with integrity and professionalism. Our team values collaboration, efficiency, and a supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations of the firm.
Position Summary: The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the firm's administrative, financial, and human resources operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting and HR skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Handle payroll processing and employee benefits
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and audits
- Cash Management
Human Resources
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Handle employee relations and support a positive workplace culture
- Administer benefits and coordinate with providers
Office Administration
- Supervise administrative staff and manage office supplies
- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality
- Implement and improve office procedures and systems
- Liaise with vendors, IT support, and building management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office manager, preferably in a legal or professional services setting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and HR practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Familiarity with payroll platforms
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred
