Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated educators passionate about supporting diverse learners in a dynamic classroom setting. The new school year brings fresh classrooms, allowing teachers to help shape programs from the beginning.
You’ll collaborate with fellow professionals, advocate for students’ unique needs, and be a crucial ally for families as students progress through their academic journey. Work Monday through Friday with a steady 37.5-hour schedule in a single-campus environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification with appropriate endorsement(s):
- Early Childhood Special Ed for P3-2
- Special Education Generalist, Educationally Handicapped, or relevant credential for Affective Needs, Autism, Cross Categorical, Functional Academics, and Severe Needs/Life Skills
- Previous experience supporting students with autism in a school district setting
- Ability to complete all district background check and fingerprinting requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment in newly established classrooms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Monitor progress, document student achievement, and adjust strategies as needed
- Contribute to a climate of respect, empathy, and inclusion to optimize student growth
Pay: Depending on your school-based experience, compensation ranges from $45–$57 per hour.
