Corporate temps is seeking an videographer in Kennesaw, GA working onsite 40 hrs a week paying $37/hr It's 80/20- 80% in office editing work and 20% videography. That said, we place a lot of value in camera technical knowledge and videography skills, so this ratio is more about time spent rather than desired skillset weight. Hope that helps. of video creation (Narrative, TV, social-only, long form, Commercials) MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW AND/OR INSTITUTION: None Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) Previous experience in Higher Education Previous experience working for Production Company, Network, or Freelance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Films a variety of original and branded content, in the field, on set, and in the studio- from sit down interviews to handheld doc-style, with a focus on short-form consumable digital content. 2. Ideates, develops, and pitches concepts for video projects 3. Develops storyboards, shotlists, style frames, and scripts 4. Ingests and backs up media, logs and organizes footage 5. Edits videos to tell a compelling story with a narrative focus 6. Color grades videos to give each video a unique identity and tone dependent on project goals 7. Owns assigned projects and delivers edits as assigned while adhering to deadlines and budget 8. Maintains communication with team and other stakeholders to coordinate the timely delivery of videos and other deliverables 9. Participates in creative and design meetings, while also brainstorming with coworkers for active projects 10. Collaborates with University personnel and the local community 11. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Skilled in modern digital cinematography techniques, and educated on film and video production process • Expert proficiency with operating cinema level cameras such as Canon and Red cameras • Skilled and familiar with industry standard computer programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Vimeo, etc.) • Proficient with non-linear video editing software and other industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve Studio, audio editing and sweetening software, color correction, transcoding, and quality controlling final deliverable files • Demonstrated understanding of proper workflows and pipelines, including media storage, transcoding, backups, and editing workflows • Strong knowledge and skill set of lighting techniques and styles • Strong understanding of storytelling - visually and narratively • Adheres to editorial guidelines and best practices • Able to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time while meeting assigned deadlines • Proficient with high quality audio capture • Able to work individually or with a team on any given project • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, verbal and written com
