Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing a significant part of our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to management.
3. Coordinate, complete, and oversee the audit process through coordination with external auditors and senior management.
4. Review and manage all financial plans and budgets, monitor progress and changes, and keep management team abreast of the organization’s financial status.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
6. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including monthly and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
7. Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
8. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
9. Perform and oversee the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
10. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
3. 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
