The Automotive Service Dispatcher is experienced and results-focused, responsible for dispatching work to technicians and maintaining daily schedules for all technicians.
Description:
· Distribute shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy
· Assign work to the correct technician level
· Ensure that technicians follow warranty policy and procedure guidelines
· Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures
· Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly
· Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms
· Maintain a record of carryover vehicles
· Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
· Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion
· Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and properly documented
· Assists in all other areas of the Service Department
· Achieves the production objectives set by management
· Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
