Job Summary:

This position will be tasked with handling various HR-related administrative duties in support of the HR Department and Company employees. Primary tasks include processing new hires, changes, and separations via the HRIS system; maintaining employee records; and serving as the initial point of contact for all HR-related inquiries. The HR Coordinator must maintain strict confidentiality, while providing timely and accurate information in a professional manner.


What does a normal day look like?

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related phone calls, emails/messages and in-person inquiries
  • Process new hires, changes, and separations via the HRIS system
  • Maintain and index employee personnel records
  • Support the recruiting process by setting up drug screens and background checks, collecting all new-hire paperwork, etc.
  • Complete Verifications of Employment (VOE) or direct to the appropriate department for timely response
  • Administer process of collecting required documentation and responding to third-party records requests
  • Field general employee relations matters and direct to the appropriate person(s) for resolution
  • Run various HR-related reports and audits as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


What makes this job right for you?

  • High school degree or equivalency
  • Minimum one (1) year of job-related experience; Up-to three (3) years HR-related experience, preferred
  • General knowledge of HR practices including but not limited to HRIS administration, i9 Compliance, recruitment, employee onboarding, and employee relations
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft office and ability to learn new technologies
  • High attention-to-detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
