Job Description
Pride Health is seeking a skilled Cytology Technologist to join our client's healthcare team in Minneapolis, MN. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic lab environment, contributing to accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cytological evaluations of GYN, Non-GYN, and FNA specimens.
- Conduct Rapid On-site Evaluations (ROSE) during procedures.
- Utilize specialized techniques including Robotic EBUS, regular EBUS, EUS, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with laboratory standards.
- Collaborate closely with pathologists, radiologists, and clinical teams to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment including Hologic Imager.
- Ensure specimen labeling and identification are accurate and meet laboratory standards.
Qualifications:
- ASCP-CT Certification (Required).
- Minimum of 1 year of cytology experience.
- Experience in Rapid On-site Evaluation (ROSE) and working in both inpatient and outpatient lab settings.
- Proficiency in Excellian/Epic preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Location: Minneapolis, MN 55407
- Schedule: Day Shift (5x8) - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, or 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM/ 40 hours/week.
- Contract Length: 18 weeks
- Pay Rate: $70 - $80/hour
