Join a healthcare facility in Hobbs, NM, as a Pharmacist supporting a 60-bed hospital. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your hospital inpatient pharmacy skills in a dynamic clinical setting equipped with EPIC and Pyxis technology.
Schedule and Hours:
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Wednesday through Tuesday rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical consultation
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to support pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous hospital inpatient pharmacy experience is essential
- Valid New Mexico pharmacist license preferred, or willingness to obtain a temporary license promptly
- Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
