Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A demanding MRI technologist position is available in a reputable healthcare setting in Olathe, KS. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and gain valuable hospital-based experience during 12-hour weekend night shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans using Philips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola equipment.
  • Conduct imaging for patients, including those with implanted devices, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
  • Float between designated locations as needed.
  • Participate in a 2-day orientation during the first week to familiarize with protocols and systems.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • 1-2 years of hospital-based MRI technologist experience; 2+ years preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year travel MRI experience.
  • Proficiency in Philips Achieva scanning and experience with Siemens 1.5T Sola.
  • Familiarity with medical software systems such as Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS.
  • Certification: ARRT (MR) and current BLS certification.
  • NICOTINE-free professional preferred.

Schedule / Hours:

  • 12-hour weekend night shifts: Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Rotation schedule required.
  • Optional on-call availability.
