Position:Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher
Schedule:Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Start Date:ASAP
Caseload:Grades 4-6

Job Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and passionate DHH Teacher to join a dedicated school district in Modesto, CA. This role involves working with students across a variety of ages and learning levels, providing specialized instruction to support communication and educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Utilize assistive listening devices and communication tools to enhance learning
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet students' unique needs

Qualifications:

• California DHH Certification required
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of assistive technology, hearing devices, and communication strategies
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting
