We are looking for a commercial lines account manager to join our commercial lines team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business insurance clients by providing proactive service, handling policy renewals and changes, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring clients receive accurate coverage guidance and timely support throughout the insurance lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
-Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients.
-Respond to coverage questions, service requests, and policy inquiries promptly and professionally.
-Conduct annual coverage reviews and proactively identify gaps or opportunities to improve client protection.
Policy Servicing & Renewal Management:
-Manage the full renewal process, including marketing accounts to carriers, preparing proposals, and presenting options to clients.
-Process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements accurately and in a timely manner.
-Maintain uptodate client records in the agency management system.
Carrier Coordination:
Communicate with underwriters to negotiate terms, obtain quotes, and resolve coverage or billing issues.
Submit complete and accurate applications, loss runs and supporting documentation to carriers.
Compliance & Documentation:
-Ensure all documentation, client communications, and transactions comply with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
-Maintain confidentiality of client data and follow proper file maintenance processes.
Account Growth & Support:
-Identify opportunities for crossselling or upgrades to ensure clients have optimal coverage.
-Support producers by preparing applications, proposals, and presentations for new business.
Requirements
-Experience in commercial insurance account management or related customerfacing insurance roles.
-Active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within a required timeframe).
-Strong knowledge of commercial lines products such as General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Professional Liability.
-Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Hawksoft, Ezlynx) and Microsoft Office.
