Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services at a school setting located in Naval Anacost Annex, DC. This contract position offers a 20-hour workweek focusing on early intervention and elementary caseloads, allowing you to contribute directly to the developmental progress of children in these critical stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to children in early intervention and elementary programs.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support holistic care.
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to enhance accessibility and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid DC Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience working within school-based settings, particularly with pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with early intervention protocols and elementary-age communication disorders.
- Certified Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare practices as they relate to pediatric SLP services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
