Job Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk II is responsible for performing bookkeeping duties in the maintenance and operation of account processing for all payable transactions for the agency on a timely basis. Work involves processing, distribution and maintenance of invoices. The Accounts Payable Clerk II is expected to work with a problem-solving oriented team and develop a professional relationship within the finance department, closely working with the senior accountant staff.Process and record all vendor invoices for payment
- Mail checks to vendors
- File and maintain A/P vouchers and related materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform credit card transaction review and reconciliations (as assigned)
SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
- More than one year and up to two years AP experience
- Minimum supervision required; work follows standard procedures
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
