One of the biggest commercial roofing companies in the US, Our team provides quality, safety, and client satisfaction across the country. To manage project installation from beginning to end, we are looking for a seasoned Commercial Roofing Traveling Superintendent.
Position Overview
The Roofing Superintendent will oversee the daily operations of roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining safety compliance on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish
- Manage and lead a team of roofing professionals and subcontractors
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety regulations and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation
- Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the project
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates on progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing, particularly in commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with roofing systems, installation, and retail projects is a plus
- Previous experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role is preferred
