Our client, an innovative leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production support team, working closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing associates. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Newark, DE
Pay Range: $25-$30 BOE
Shift: 2nd shift: 3PM - 11:30PM
What's the Job?
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment to ensure production meets quality and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with engineering on setup, calibration, and process improvements.
- Perform quality testing and rework activities to maintain product integrity.
- Follow all safety and operating procedures diligently to promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field is beneficial.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
