Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Wilmington, Massachusetts, on a Contract to permanent basis. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:
• Accurately record and maintain financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and organize financial data effectively.
• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and tracking payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date.
• Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of accounting data and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.• Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Familiarity with generating financial reports and analyzing data.
