Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years experience required- firm on this
• Stepdown/ Intermediate/PCU experience REQUIRED
• ICU experience, preferred
• Trauma Level II preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience REQUIRED
• Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS
• Shift Requirements: 12 hour days 7a-730p
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday
• Float Requirements: AWH all inpatient units, as needed. Typically will float to higher acuity units
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
• Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau -expires 1/23/26
• Charting Experience: EPIC preferred
• Patient Ratio: 4:1

• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs

Unit Information:

• BEDS: 22
• Med Surg Intermediate Care unit
• Heavy Tele.
• Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke.
• Primary Patients/Insulin Drips
