Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist in Sunnyvale, CA. This role involves providing psychological services to students within a school setting, supporting their mental health, development, and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Monitor and report on student progress and recommend educational strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with state and federal education regulations
