Formulation Chemist – Coatings & Building Materials
Location: Greater Milwaukee, WI Area
A specialty chemical manufacturer is seeking a Formulation Chemist to lead R&D efforts in coatings and building products. This role will focus on developing and testing new formulations while improving existing product lines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new product formulations for coatings, adhesives, and construction materials.
- Conduct lab testing and analysis to ensure performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with production teams on scale-up and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate lab documentation and technical reports.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of formulation chemistry experience (coatings, adhesives, or related).
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required.
- Strong lab skills and experience with formulation testing methods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
