As a host, you will make every guest feel welcome, comfortable, and important, while also ensuring every guest leaves having an extraordinary experience.Nestled along the Potomac River in Alexandrias Robinson Landing, Adas on the River is an award-winning dining destination where exceptional food meets stunning views. Located in charming Old Town Alexandria, a favorite neighborhood for tourists and just a short trip from D.C., Adas draws inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Ada Lovelace, a 19th-century mathematician and innovator. Our restaurant offers a modern American menu infused with creativity and bold, wood-fired flavors. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner as soon as they arrive. Open the door for departing guests when possible.
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer guests questions.
Manages reservations using our reservation system and ensures accurate information about guest information in our database during each booking.
Maintains knowledge of restaurant information, menu items, specials/promotions, parking availability, and basic knowledge of the neighborhood.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
