Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist is needed to provide essential support within two elementary schools in Portland, OR. This contract role covers a leave of absence from December 1 through March 31, with the possibility of extension. The position is an in-person opportunity during typical school hours, offering flexibility to set your own daily schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to evaluate student needs
- Perform Initial Evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSP) tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification
- Experience conducting FBAs, Initial Evaluations, and creating Behavior Support Plans
- Knowledge of K-12 educational practices and student psychological assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule within school hours
