Location: Washington, DC metro area / hybrid / remote as approved

Travel: Up to moderate travel to multiple states locations as needed

Clearance/Suitability: Must be able to obtain and maintain Tier 2 Public Trust suitability or higher


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a federal program delivering program management, project management office support, implementation support, and project leadership for high-visibility national IT initiatives. This role serves as the primary interface with government leadership and is responsible for overall contract performance, staffing oversight, delivery quality, issue resolution, and multi-project execution.


This is a high-impact role for someone who can manage complex portfolios, lead distributed teams, support executive stakeholders, and drive strong delivery outcomes in a structured federal environment. The work includes support for national IT rollouts, change management efforts, white-glove post-go-live support, resource coordination, status reporting, and continuous process improvement.


What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary program lead and main point of contact for the government customer.
  • Oversee contract execution across multiple projects and task areas.
  • Lead program governance, staffing, communications, escalation management, and performance oversight.
  • Manage contractor personnel, subcontractors, and resource allocation across ongoing efforts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of dashboards, status reports, resource reporting, and other required management artifacts.
  • Support national IT deployment and implementation efforts, including transition planning and continuity of operations.
  • Drive quality assurance, knowledge transfer, onboarding, and process improvement.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure staff are trained, qualified, and operating within judiciary security and suitability requirements.



Requirements

  • Experience managing BPAs
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology, information systems, computer science, organizational change management, or related field.
  • PMP certification
  • 10+ years of experience managing staff and deliverables on projects similar in size, scope, and complexity.
  • At least 7 of those 10 years must be recent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex IT programs and managing multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Strong experience with executive communications, issue management, staffing oversight, and client relationship management.
  • Proven ability to organize and direct work across distributed teams in a federal environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal judiciary, court, or similarly distributed public-sector organizations.
  • Experience supporting national IT rollouts across multiple locations.
  • Experience with change management, end-user adoption, and white-glove support models.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 collaboration and reporting tools such as Teams, Planner, Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.


Work Environment

  • Work may be performed on-site in Washington, DC, at government locations, contractor facilities, or remotely as approved.
  • Travel to courts may be required with prior authorization.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and capable of meeting federal suitability requirements.
