Job Description
This position involves operating one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include handling raw materials, filling, capping, sealing, labeling, and packaging products. The role also entails removing damaged products or supplies as needed and overseeing production, package, and flavor changeovers. The operator must maintain required product inspection processes, perform basic troubleshooting, and conduct minor repairs to ensure efficient equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency.
- Shift materials and finished products to maintain proper flow.
- Ensure package and product quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Efficiently and safely operate all manufacturing equipment, including new technologies.
- Clean equipment and work area before, during, and after shifts.
- Maintain a clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
- Expedite repairs to the line, collaborating with maintenance as needed.
- Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Essential Skills
- Experience with high-speed production lines.
- Experience with pallets, including forklift operation and product stacking/bundling.
- Experience operating packing, filler, and palletizer machines.
- Ability to read blueprints and schedules.
- Proficiency with computers in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of sanitization procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience in minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge in mechanical and electrical aspects.
- Experience in general labor, warehouse production, and material handling.
- Skills in picking, unloading, shipping and receiving, and loading.
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain machine safety, and perform machine repairs.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean production facility where employees engage with both traditional and new manufacturing technologies. The position requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds over long periods, with frequent walking, standing, stooping, crawling, and crouching over and under conveyors. Shifts may include weekends and holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Folsom, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
