Position Overview:Operating Room at Our FacilityRegistered Nurse (RN) - First Assistant on CallSeeking Experienced RNFA! Minimum of 2 Years Required!
About Us:
Our Operating Room handles a diverse range of cases, including Orthopedics, Neurology, and General Services. Registered Nurses are typically assigned to one of these specialty areas, with opportunities for cross-training in other sections of the department.
The RN First Assistant engages in perioperative nursing and has gained the necessary knowledge, skills, and judgment through structured training and supervised practice to assist the surgeon in the operating room. The intraoperative tasks performed by the RN First Assistant must be overseen by a surgeon.
Qualifications:

Licensure: RN License in the state of Missouri

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of intraoperative experience is required

Certifications:
-
CNOR and RN-First Assistant certification must be obtained within one year of hire or transfer.

BLS/ACLS certification is required within the first year.

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Preferred Certifications: CNOR, CRNFA
