Job DescriptionThe Boathouse Restaurant at The Boathouse is looking for a bartender to join our lakeside marina bar team. Experience in a busy bar is helpful. Our goal is to ensure quality beverages served in a timely manner to please our marina guest and members. Flexible schedule required, 20hrs/week part-time.Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up bar with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cocktails (cutting and peeling fruit, etc.)
- Ensure great presentation before cocktails are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the bar
- Ensure all liquors, condiments and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Required Skills
- Proven experience as bartender
- Knowledge of various bartending procedures and methods
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Very good communication skills and pleasant demeanor
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
